Project Medan 2016

Dear friends,

Sorry for not updating but if you have been following us on instagram and FB, we have raised some funds from our DIY Terrarium event recently. We did not raised a lot of funds but these funds will contribute for our future projects which is truly appreciated. Thanks to everyone who participated and made the event a very successful one!

Project Medan is happening this 26th Dec which is tomorrow and we apologise for the lack of announcement as I was bedridden for almost 3 weeks from a bad landing on my left leg which resulted to a knee contusion. This year however, we do not have many members participating in the trip due to personal commitments, hence the group has only 5 of us.

However, we would still be bringing joy to a bunch of cancer kids of the Smiling Kids Foundation in Medan, and hopefully the 5 of us will be able to manage them with the help of the organisers. So wish us luck and pray for our safety during this whole trip!

Follow us on instagram and FB to be updated on our trip! Take care and Merry Christmas!

Feeling blessed,

Big Roy

Project Ho Chi Minh A Success!

Hey y’all!

We are back from Vietnam on the 31st Dec 2015 and immediately got back to prepping for the new year at work!

Project Ho Chi Minh was a success as we brought fun as well as donations to 2 orphanages. At the same time, the team also experienced life in Vietnam absorbing the different cultures and lifestyles. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and was rejuvenating at the same time! However, this year’s project we hope we can work on a new program where we encourage sustainability by way of contributing equipments or teaching them viable new skillsets. So remember to follow us on FB to get all the news!

Here I’d like to thank all our members for their relentless support and we had 3 mothers of our members who joined us on this trip to lend a hand too! Special thanks to our Vietnamese friends Bosley and Richard for coordinating the orphanages, transportation, translation, shopping, etc. Without them would be seriously tough for us to be there even! Check out the pictures and videos can be seen on our Instagram  as well as our Facebook page!

Last but not least, we would like to thank our donors who have been supporting our projects for years. Some even from year 1! On behalf of the whole team at Care Givers Group, thank you guys for being so supportive, there’s no slowing us down now!

1. Alicia Tan Lay Peng – $100
