Project Chiang Rai 2014 – An Awesome Trip!

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates over here but we have been updating a lot on Facebook due to the ease of uploading of pics via many forms of  medium.

The trip to Chiang Rai was an awesome one. We planned for 2 locations but ended up checking out another school, totally impromptu. Everyone enjoyed themselves playing with the kids, mingling with them, spreading the love and I must say our team was ready for all things unexpected. Could be due to our many years of experience dealing with kids? I’ll leave it to your speculation!

As I have embarked on a new venture of late, time is really limited on my side. Hence I will try to upload pics of the schools asap! I have already uploaded the first school pics and you can view them on https://www.facebook.com/caregiversgroup!

Thanks again for all the support guys! Your trust in us let us witness the happy faces of all our beneficiaries! We will upload the list of donors and supporters soon!

Take care and God bless!

Yours faithfully,

Big Roy

FUND BAKE 2014

Friends of Care Givers Group,

Every year we have a fund raising event to help raise a little fund to help us reach out to more poor children for our charity trips to somewhere in Asia. But the main purpose is to actually keep in touch with our friends, relatives and colleagues who have been supporting us for our projects since we started CGG in March 2009. We find such activities very meaningful amidst our busy lives and also to help those who are new to us understand our work better.

Fund Bake 2014 is back again for the 3rd time after previous 2 successful attempts and this year we will be holding the event in a proper baking school with proper baking facilities at Bakerz@Work! So what’s on the menu? Check out the details below:

Project Chiang Mai A Success!

Project Chiang Mai was a success! Sorry it took us so long to update as it is always hectic the first quarter of the year and at the same time we were tabulating the figures while going about our full time jobs. Nevertheless, Project Chiang Mai was a blast and we not only reached out to the 170 kids from Baan Mae Ping, but also to 2 other villages and a physically impaired girl, who comes from a really poor family with only her mother trying to make ends meet while attending to her all the time. It is just depressing to witness such a case, so we discussed and donated 10000 bahts to them which is around S$400 but it can help them a lot to improve their living conditions. You guys can check out the pics if you haven’t at http://on.fb.me/1ib4jCT.

Anyways, as usual, every year we would wanna thank our wonderful donors who trust us and believe in what we do. Without them, it will be tougher for us to execute such projects. Please see the list of donors for 2013.
